Years ago the food from Omaha Steak was quite good. Because it’s so expensive we didn’t purchase it for ourselves but have received packages as gifts on many occasions. The last three we have received, over a period of 2 years have all been terrible and the quality seems to be getting worse. At first it was just that the meat lacked flavor but subsequently we found that the chicken also was very very rubbery. The hamburgers are beyond bland with an off flavor that reminiscent of freezer burn that no amount of seasoning will mask. The steaks exude an enormous amount of water when thawed, the flavor is odd and the texture is even stranger. It sort of dissolves in your mouth but not in a good way, regardless of the cut. It gives the impression that some sort of solution has been added to tenderize the product. I have a LOT of product in my freezer that no one wants to eat. Because it comes as a gift we have no recourse to return it and we didn’t want to offend the givers but it’s gotten so bad that, given how expensive the product is, we finally let them know and asked them not to send any more. We are going to thaw everything and grind it up and make chili with it hoping that we can at least avoid throwing it away. The final straw came when even the sides became sub-par. A specific example is their twice baked potatoes which looked delicious but unfortunately tasted so bad we literally threw them away. Among other things, they tasted like they were made from dehydrated potatoes which were then piped into potato skins. I would not have thought there was a potato in the world that I would turn down but these I found inedible. It’s too bad because the company used to be really good. I thought the first bad batch of product was just a fluke but three in a row over 2 years is definitely a trend and I just couldn’t keep quiet any longer.

Hamburgers tasteless and small. Steaks much smaller than on T.V. and bland. Dessert terrible. Ho to Sam's Club and buy Filets and hamburg meat there. Way better. Sad.

This company is far from transparent. Very few products have reviews that can actually be clicked on and read. I can't find any products for which a review can be left. I could only find reviews from August 2020 to September 2021. NONE from 2022. Since only one of the products I have purchased was tasty enough to buy again (shrimp scampi skillet meal), I am beginning to think this is intentional rather than a known issue they have tried to fix for months (since at least Feb 2, the first time I called them). It's funny that the order button works just fine for everything.

We receive Omaha Steaks all the time as a gift from our daughter (Father's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, etc). We are normally very pleased. This recent order which included a little of everything was good EXCEPT FOR THE CHICKEN BREASTS. They were like RUBBER CHICKEN, not only one of them but ALL FOUR int the box. She normally just sends the steaks. I will tell her in the future to send something else. This completely turned us off... had to throw away the whole chicken masala dinner. What a waste of time!!!!

I received a $50 gift card from my company and went online to make a purchase. I've ordered from here before and was very disappointed in the quality of everything so I'm literally ordering only to use the gift card. A minimum of $99 order is required before they will even ship anything and then you still pay for shipping. I added enough to my cart for a subtotal of $109 and my balance after the gift card is $87. So essentially, you have to pay twice as much on food you don't even want in order to use a gift card. Total joke! Gift card in the trash!

Been a customer for about a year now and completely satisfied. One mishap where meat delivered had already thawed. Called customer service and a replacement order was processed and shipped immediately at no extra charge. No complaints here.

I spent a lot of money expecting excellence (for the price). Did not get that.
*Individual Asparagus Souffles: These were awful. No taste, you couldn't even taste asparagus, let alone any cheese. We threw them out.
*Filet Mignon in Pastry: The photo looks amazing. The taste is far from it, very odd taste, and you can hardly taste the meat.
*Tri-tip steaks: These were decent but not anything near "high end." For the price for the size of the cut they send, go to your local butcher.
*Key Lime Tarts: These are good. But $40 for 4 of them is ridiculous.
*Triple Berry Tartlets: This is the only item that was good plus a decent price.

We ordered a pot roast that was priced@ $39.99 expecting excellence. Instead we got a dried out piece of meat that was not edible and had to be thrown out. When we contacted customer service Josie said sorry and credited $15.25. That math does not equal a 100% guarantee. After contacting Josie twice more with no response it is apparent that they do not honor their warranty.

The shrimp fried rice was too salty and the sauce it came in was very wet, The rice was not that great either. You only get eight shrimp.

Our son bought Omaha steak box for one of our Christmas presents. The steaks were very small not good cut of meat. They were tough. Lobster was so small. It was fairly good but so small only about two bites per piece. Four in box. The green beans were terrible and so were other sides. Waste of money. Our son ordered himself the box and he was very disappointed. The ads on TV are false. Steaks look nothing like the ones in the ads. I rather buy my own steaks and lobster. We will never waste money with this company.
